Many of us had a wonderful day in spite of the lousy weather, at the Go Red event in Smithville. It was so nice to enjoy a relaxed luncheon in the company of Renee, Marilyn, Kit, Terry, Jill, Dee, Linda McLaughlin and Jackie. Of course, Donna Andrews was present too, along with the beautiful portrait she did of the two heart patients.
The fashion show was really touching with women and children that had survived some type of heart trauma modeling their outfits. Everyone in the room wore red and it was a real sight to behold. Those of you who couldn't make it were there in spirit with two beautiful baskets full of kitchen items from everyone at SJWN. Maria did a great job putting them together and they were a big hit! I took pictures and TeenaMarie said she'd put them on the website for us all to see!
We had a nice turn-out at our meeting this week. Rhonda Keen, of Brightside News, was our presenter. She and her husband own their paper that serves Cape May County and only produce upbeat positive news. In this day in age, that is really a great challenge and one worthy of applause. Thank you for sharing your good vibes with our group and I hope many of us can take advantage of the great advertising opportunity and the chance to be represented both inside and outside of Atlantic County.
We don't have a speaker for this coming week. So don't be shy, if you haven't had the chance to present your business yet, please let me know ASAP.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us know if you want to bring a guest. We are looking for professional women that own their own business that want to grow their business and are passionate about what they do! We are still looking for a lawyer, landscape designer, organizer, interior decorator, professional baker, spa owner, hair salon owner...just to name a few. Any ideas, give Terry or myself a call.
Don't forget all your friends in SJWN...no matter where you are or what you do...someone you know could use one of us at SJWN!
See you on Wednesday!
